He’s got his problems, just like we all have.

To get this thread back on topic, there’s quite a few politicians who were in office last century who now have stuff coming out about them. I don’t think they should be named on this forum though, because A: the ones that are alive tend to take legal action, and B: the ones that aren’t alive can’t defend themselves against lies and wild speculation.

It does demonstrate though, that paraphilias don’t discriminate. They affect all sorts of people from every walk of life.

From your thread I see you have looked at illegal porn, which means you’ve done more crime than me.

The OP is perfectly entitled to ask what he did. It can be very comforting to know you’re not alone.

Absolutely! Why would anyone be ashamed of being in the minority of men who are brave enough to declare their attraction to girls becoming capable of child-bearing? It seems completely inevitable to me. It’s the men who claim to feel no attraction until the legal age is reached who worry me. Do they expect to be taken seriously?

Considering that most couples nowadays are using birth control, the whole concept of requiring children for a sexual relationship is pretty laughable. Nobody has sex thinking about changing diapers and losing their free time and sleep. It’s a strong deterrent and sexual attractions are based otherwise.

Charles Crumb was a pedophile. He was the brother of the cartoonist Robert Crumb.

Michael Jackson was not a pedophile, and he wasn’t even a child molester.
Roman Polanski raped a 13 year-old girl (in a way that perfectly resembles one of my favorite fantasies, I must add), but that alone cannot be considered pedophilia. I am not in Mr.Polanski’s mind so I don’t what exactly led him to do that, but saying he’s a pedophile just because he raped an underage girl is wrong, and that is child molestation anyway. Let’s not confuse child molestation with pedophilia please, as not all child molesters are necessarily pedophiles (some are, but some just are not).

I don’t think he was a child molester, but I do think he was a pedophile, at least in the sense that he really really loved and prioritized children. Check out this tribute video if you think otherwise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igUKhcW … _JGpjmv99f

He even called himself Peter Pan, a character with whom I think a lot of pedophiles would sympathize. (Peter Pan was written by J.M. Barrie, and there’s speculation that he was a pedophile. He seems to have had a similar relationship with the Llewelyn Davies boys as Lewis Carroll had with the Liddell sisters.)

I think I’ve heard that Walt Whitman was a BL. Allen Ginsberg has a great poem called “A Supermarket in California” (link with recording: http://www.poetryarchive.org/poetryarch … oemId=1549) in which Walt Whitman is depicted “eyeing the grocery boys.”

Another great poet who was likely a pedophile is Wilfred Owen. Check out “Sweet Is Your Antique Body” and “Maundy Thursday.” There was a minor (no pun intended) poetry movement during his lifetime called the “Uranian Poets,” though I haven’t found any of their poems really spectacular.

When I’ve searched online, I’ve seem claims that Leonardo da Vinci, Shakespeare, and Michelangelo all were pedophiles, too, but I think that’s probably just someone’s wishful thinking or misinterpretation of cultural differences.

*Edit: Oh, and Balthus, a painter and photographer, was accused of being a pedophile. I sometimes wonder about Edgar Degas as well, because I love his paintings so much.

Also, Edgar Allan Poe married his 13 year old cousin when he was 26, and lied about her age on the marriage certificate.

Michael loved children, although I don’t think there are proofs of him loving children in a sexual/romantic way like we pedophiles do.

If it’s true that Da Vinci, Shakespeare and Michelangelo were pedophiles, then I’m really proud of having this in common with them lol.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of my favorite poets ever. I didn’t know about that detail though.

All these people were important, great people of all times. And it looks like all the best people in the world have some kind of mental “issue”: bipolar disorder, autism, schizophrenia….maybe even paraphilias….

Yeah I’ve always thought most of people who are considered “crazy” by society are, in reality, people with above-average intelligence. In reality I think that we just have different perceptions of the world which makes us unique, fascinating and even appreciated.
